The Great Resignation is sweeping across the globe as workers choose organisations that align with work-life balance and purposeful driven values.
In a Harvard Business Review article by Ian Cook titled, “Who Is Driving the Great Resignation”, Ian analysed why people were leaving. The resignations increased for 30-45 years old but decreased for workers in the 20-25 age range. The reasons given were financial security for the new workers and less demand for entry-level workers so best to stick the job!
Businesses are innovating and evolving how they work and looking after their people. The wellbeing of their employees and changing customer needs and economic climate – the future of work will be in a stronger position over the next few years.
